Facial Acupuncture and Lymphatic Massage
Julia Oji, Brackenbury acupuncturist and manual lymph drainage practitioner, now offers a unique facial rejuvenation treatment combining these two therapies.
Cosmetic Acupuncture involves the insertion of short, fine acupuncture needles into points on the meridians (energy channels) that pass over the face, head and neck area. In addition even finer, smaller intradermal needles are inserted into lines and wrinkles on the facial skin. The effect of this is not only to stimulate the flow of energy in the meridians but to encourage a supply of fresh oxygenated blood to the skin surface. This in turn promotes the production of collagen that gives skin its strength and elasticity.
Once needles have been removed, Julia then uses facial Manual Lymph Drainage techniques to optimise lymphatic circulation in the area. As well as being a relaxing and enjoyable way to complete the treatment session, this revitalises skin by encouraging the removal of toxins and excess fluids that contribute to puffiness.
In addition to the facial treatment, a selection of acupuncture points on the body are used to help restore and re-balance the organ energies that underpin general health and well-being.
Treatments last 1hr 30mins and cost £120. (INTRODUCTORY OFFER UNTIL 31 DECEMBER 2017 – £90 INSTEAD OF £120)
Each treatment can be stand-alone but for best results a course of 6 or more weekly sessions is recommended, for which a 10% discount is applied.
Free 15-min initial consultations are available on request.
