Katie Joyce

Katie Joyce is a RICTAT (International Register of Integrative Colon Hydrotherapists & Trainers) trained and accredited colon hydrotherapist and BANT ( British Association for Nutrition and lifestyle Medicine) registered Nutritionist with over ten years of experience in the health and wellness field.

She has expertise and knowledge across a range of health issues such as autoimmune disease, Type 2 diabetes and weight loss. She has worked with health retreats in the UK and abroad supporting clients on the detox programmes with colonics, offering educational talks and creating bespoke personalised nutrition plans.

Katie has a special interest in women’s health including perimenopause, PCOS, endometriosis and PMS. She is fascinated by the connection between the gut, the liver and hormones. The colon is the largest detoxification pathway in the body and supports the liver and therefore plays an essential role in optimal hormonal health.

Katie takes a holistic approach when working with clients evaluating all aspects of their lifestyle including diet, sleep and alignment with circadian rhythms.

She is trained and up to date in functional testing including comprehensive gut microbiome testing and blood test analysis.

Katie has a caring and empathetic approach to colon hydrotherapy ensuring clients are fully informed and prepared for the treatment offering education about gut health and providing comfort to control anxiety and enhance results.

Post-treatment plans can be created to maintain results long term including nutrition and lifestyle advice and specific supplements where necessary.

In her free time Katie is passionate about the great outdoors and can be found mountain hiking and cold water swimming! She believes a deep connection to nature is vital for wellbeing.
