Charles Djamdjian
Charles qualified with a Master’s in Osteopathy (Msc. Ost) from Swansea University in 2022. That same year he broadened his medical foundation by successfully completing the first year of medicine studies at Charles University’s 1st Medical Faculty in Prague. With a deeper knowledge of anatomy and physiology, Charles began his own osteopathic practice in the Czech Capital. He worked with patients from different walks of life including desk-based professionals, amateur sports people and professional athletes. After further specialised training, he also collaborated with a dental clinic to treat Temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ) disorders.
In his practice, Charles combines structural and functional approaches to holistically address the root causes of chronic and acute pain. This focus enables the restoration of mobility, balance and long-lasting relief. Truly passionate about human anatomy, Charles takes great care in educating his patients about the particulars of their pains. He aims to empower them with knowledge to guide recovery between sessions. Managing the psychological and emotional aspect that comes with aches and injuries is something Charles enjoys and considers a pillar of the healing process.
Charles’ passion for health started in the USA after shadowing surgeons and competing as a sprinter. He returned to the UK for university and trained for BUCS championships throughout his Masters’. By connecting motion and medicine, Charles is goal oriented and tailors his approach to individual patient needs.
