Maria Luszczkiewicz

Maria is an Alexander Technique teacher having trained for three years at Alexander Technique Training School in Danceworks in Balderton Street W1. She is a fully registered member of the Society for Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT).

Her introduction to the Technique was in the recovery from spine surgery in her early 30’s. A series of private lessons helped her get stronger and have more stamina, become more relaxed, think more clearly and rediscover freedom and ease in movement. This led her to  joining and completing the training course in 2008. Since then she has been teaching people of all ages and backgrounds. She brings poise and a safe presence to this psychophysical educational process aimed at improving the physical, emotional and mental well-being of the student.

The Alexander Technique is a powerful tool for personal change. It frees you from unhelpful postural habits that cause discomfort and illness, and it offers a dynamic sense of ease and poise. The Technique tackles the source of your problems bringing awareness to your harmful habits. Through a journey of self discovery you learn how to release muscle tension and mental stress and regain your natural grace and freedom.

The Alexander Technique helps people naturally with:

  • Back, neck and joint pain
  • Muscle tension and stiffness
  • Poor posture
  • Breathing and vocal problems
  • Stress and stress-related conditions
